The List

Welcome to the "learning community" list for "Facilitators of Learning and Change " (facil-l) on the African continent. If you are passionate about facilitating learning and change, and wish to share the in's and out's and up's and down's with fellow facilitators, then this is where you want to be.

We realize that facilitating learning is an exciting, but difficult and sometimes lonely journey to embark on, hence we set up this list as a way for the people of Africa to connect in a positive and helpful way. Our mission therefore in setting up facil-l is to establish and maintain a "learning community" for the advantage of all members for the following reasons:

To share and exchange knowledge and experiences
To thrash out problems and discover solutions
To evoke new and innovative ideas
To cultivate dialogue and conversations around pertinent issues
To offer and receive support and direction/guidance
To understand and develop ways of facilitating learning and change more effectively

We believe that this "learning community" list should be self-organizing and would only ask that you, for the good of all those participating in the list, please practice good "netiquette" and remember
